So, what’s it all about? It’s about quality-narration for fiction. I love narrating, I love writing, and I love old books. So, I’ve decided to blend it all together into one big podcast: TomeCast.
What you’ll hear:
Alchemists & Airships
This is a huge universe in which alchemical devices are widespread. They allow for giant airships, autonomous mechs, high-speed rail, and even alchemical mutations. The world will span a variety of subsections featuring different characters and settings. But, occasionally, we’ll see crossovers.
The Adventures of Johnny Zero
What happens when The Breakfast Club meets Lost in Space? Johnny and his classmates are abducted and must pilot an alien spacecraft through the unknown to find out why they were taken, what happened to their captors, and how they are going to get home.
Blood.Sweat.Gears
Humanity has lost the war. Aliens called the Phalanx have overrun Earth and most of their colony worlds. Now humanity has to run and pray they can find a new home. Compounding issues, the machines they built to fight the Phalanx have turned on humanity and are also hunting them down.
Guarded Secrets
Marcus and Claret Greenwood have a secret that could at best get them killed and at worst bring down the kingdom. So they fled the opulent life of the capitol city for the rustic beauty of Mafic’s Citadel on the borderlands. There, after raising a family and finally finding some measure of peace, they find their lives upended by war, politics, and a dark mystery in the nearby forest.
Can the pair protect their family and the kingdom? Or must one perish to save the other?
Into the Fray
When Earth is overrun by demonic entities, mankind handles it the only way they know how. By making it a reality show.
Humanity is confined to massive arcologies where they live repressed, tired lives. That is, unless you’re one of the wealthy owners that run these micro-civilizations. To keep the massive happy, they’ve built a blood sport around the hunting of demon beasts in the wild.
When Marco Fray is pressed into one of these hunting units, he learns life is much tougher than simulations and waiting tables during the lunch rush at his parents’ restaurant. He has to think fast before he becomes lunch himself.
Fray also has to figure out what’s going on behind the scenes. The celebrity sports life is a thin veneer on an ugly world of lies, human trafficking, and much more.
Classic Stories
In between original podcast fiction, you’ll hear classic tales of adventure. Stories by Jules Verne, Robert Luis Stevenson, and more. These are the tales that inspired me and I want to share them with you.
