Prize fighter Jack Striker and disgraced cop Kylie Reynolds are given a second chance when a strange, and freakishly intelligent automaton offers them the chance to solve cases as private investigators. The trio solve mysteries inside and outside the sprawling but isolated metropolis of of Illisport. There, they must unravel brutal and strange cases overlooked by the constabulary.
